From Kosta ( Pelloponese) you can reach Spetses by: ferry-boat: 4 crossings daily (7.15 - 10.00 - 13.00 - 16.30 from Spetses and 8.00 - 10.30 - 13.20 - 17.00, from Kosta). From Piraeus harbour, at Akti Tselepi: Gate D, (Tel. 210 4117341) Departure each morning at 8.00 of the liner ferry-boat which returns at noon from Spetses. Duration of the trip: 4h30, with call at each island of the Saronic Gulf on the way to Spetses. Cars owners should contact the Municipality of Spetses for the relevant regulations before boarding their car.
From the Akti Tselepi (in front of the church of St. Spyridona) departure of the “Flying dolphins”. (Hydrofoils) Duration of the trip: 2 hours. During summer season, reservations are imperative.
There are to possible itineraries: Traveling from Athens, or central or northern Greece, you must cross the Strait of Corinth, follow the road to Epidaure, pass trough Kranidi and Porto-Heli to reach the small peninsula of Kosta. When traveling in the Peloponnese area, you will reach Kosta through Nafplio (Nauplia) and Ligourio, taking the highway Patras-Corinth. There is also a regular bus connection between Nafplio-Kranidi-Kosta.
!!! REMEMBER: Private cars are prohibited on the island of Spestes, and the use of all other vehicles, including motor bicycles, are subject to municipal and prefectoral regulations for which you must obtain information in time.
